Apartments in villas for your summer holidays in Italy

Wish to go on holiday with family and friends and need to have a place ‘just for you’? Here is my selection of ‘apartments in villas‘ which allow having privacy and space at the same time. Of course, there is always a shared pool where you can relax together. Enjoy!

Castello di Monticelli (Umbria) – Castello di Monticelli in the Umbrian countryside is a historic hamlet that dates back to the 12th century. Today a stylish resort with 22 rooms and self-catered apartments, it retains much of its original charm and is perfect for those who want to enjoy a family holiday. Ask Ellen and Giuseppe for a historic tour around the property, to the grotto and the frescoed chapel. There are lovely walks in the woods and ancient cities to visit like Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Todi, Orvieto, and Spoleto. You can also cycling or taking a boat trip on Lake Trasimeno, enjoy rafting at the Marmore falls and reach Florence and Rome in less than 2 hours.  There are a fabulous gourmet restaurant, gardens, and 2 landscaped pools with splendid views. Dine under the stars and taste some of the best Umbrian simple recipes which burst with flavor. If you feel inspired, sign up for one of their cooking courses.
